Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition characterized by widespread muscle and joint pain, excessive fatigue, sleep disturbances and increased sensitivity to painful stimuli. It affects approximately 2% of the population and represents 15% of rheumatology consultations. Its exact origin is not completely known, but it is thought to result from a combination of genetic, environmental and psychological factors.

According to some researchers, it may be triggered by infection or physical trauma, or an abnormality in the nervous system that processes pain, or chemical imbalances in certain neurotransmitters and muscle metabolism.

Until recently, the standard medical response was often to prescribe medication to relieve symptoms. But we're starting to realize that fibromyalgia isn't just a fire to put out. It is a complex ecosystem, which requires a more global approach.

This is where holistic approaches come in. The idea? Consider the person as a whole: body, mind and environment. It is not a question of denying conventional medicine, but of enriching it. To listen to the message of pain, rather than trying to silence it at all costs. To learn to live with, rather than against.

Several avenues are emerging in this regard. First, food. Some research suggests that anti-inflammatory diets rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, fish, and vegetable oils may help reduce fibromyalgia symptoms.

Deuxièmement, le mouvement. Yoga, tai chi, walking, swimming can help improve the quality of life for people with fibromyalgia. It's not about breaking records, but about listening to your body, moving gently, reconnecting with the pleasure of movement. Third, the mind. Meditation, mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapies are all tools that can help manage stress, anxiety, and the perception of pain.

Today there is no clear consensus on the treatment of choice and fibromyalgia remains relatively refractory to treatment. But following new scientific publications, progress exists to better manage these symptoms through neuronutrition. This approach is now offered by innovative rheumatologists.

Neurotrution

Indeed, to act specifically on pain receptors, they recommend Palmitoylethanolamide. PEA has a double action that is not only analgesic, but also anti-inflammatory. It stimulates endogenous cannabinoid production which modulates pain, and decreases inflammation. In studies, after 3 months of daily intake, there is a significant reduction in symptoms with, in parallel, less consumption of analgesics, thus minimizing their side effects. PEA can therefore improve the quality of life of people with fibromyalgia.

PEA is associated with uridine monophosphate. It is a natural compound present in the human body, where it plays a role in the synthesis of DNA and RNA. : it is a regulator of muscle metabolism based on UMP and Magnesium and B vitamins which will release tension in painful musculo-articular areas.

.The Yunova Pharma laboratory has developed 2 innovative food supplements: : Perinerve and Lumbaplex. Perinerve is a unique formula combining PEA, Commiphora Myrrha and B vitamins. Lumbaplex is composed of Uridine Monophosphate, B vitamins and magnesium.

Perinerve and Lumbaplex are recommended as a three-month program of one tablet and one capsule per day.
