A multidisciplinary approach..

There is no miracle cure that will relieve your stubborn pain overnight. The preferred strategy is global and personalized support. The idea is to combine several tracks. The drug and interventional approach through infiltrations, neurostimulation. We add physiotherapy and occupational therapy which are physical practices and then psychological ones such as CBT for example.

Medications are the basis of treatment, but are not enough on their own. Classic analgesics such as paracetamol, anti-inflammatories, opiates have an effectiveness that is exhausted in the long term. Some doctors end up prescribing treatments that act on central sensitization with antidepressants, and antiepileptics, with the side effects that we know. To better manage your pain sensation, you can use complementary methods such as acupuncture, sophrology, hypnosis and meditation, yoga, etc.

Some pain reference centers are also incorporating a very promising new approach:

Neuronutrition.

Indeed specific elements of nutrition can intervene positively on the nerves and the brain. Two of them are very interesting: PEA and Myrrh, which are two substances studied for their potential in pain management.

  • Palmitoylethanolamide or PEA is a molecule naturally present in our body. It is also found in food and in some algae. It belongs to the class of amide fatty acids and has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. It modulates the body's inflammatory response by inhibiting the release of inflammatory mediators and reducing mast cell activation. It is very interesting in chronic pain. PEA has the ability to decrease the sensation of pain by modulating the activity of cannabinoid receptors without a psychoactive effect.
  • Myrrh is extracted from the Commiphora myrrha tree, which has been used for millennia to relieve pain and reduce inflammation. It acts in synergy with the PEA.

As part of a multidisciplinary approach, neuronutrition is effective, but we must nevertheless set realistic goals.

We must first aim for an improvement in the quality of life, often by accepting to live with a residual sensation.

Establishing pleasure in one's life sends information to the brain other than that of pain. In this way, we manage to modulate the pain pathways, attenuate the perception and make it more manageable.

To support you in this complementary approach, the Yunova Pharma laboratory, specialized in Neuronutrition, has developed an innovative food supplement: Perinerve.

In particular, it contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system, to the synthesis of certain neurotransmitters and to normal physiological functions.

It is a unique formula combining PEA, Commiphora Myrrha and group B vitamins. Perinerve is recommended as a three-month program at one tablet per day.
